Flyover at Shaukat Khanum Intersection Lahore

The project is being executed at one of the busiest junctions in Lahore. Massive traffic jams occurs during peak hours due to traffic streaming towards the commercial and residential hub, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center, University of Central Punjab and various housing societies .The objective of this Project is to provide a safe, congestion free and smooth traffic facility to the commuters. This flyover will  provide an efficient and smooth facility at the crossing for through traffic plying on Khayaban-e-Firdousi and Khayaban-e-Jinnah, thereby facilitating the residents of Southern Lahore travelling to suburbs of Lahore and vice versa. This Project will greatly benefit the road users by reduction in the vehicle operating costs ,saving time, better riding quality and improved geometry. The cost of the project is RS 809 Million with completion period of 80 days.
