FLYOVER AND UNDERPASS AT PIR WADHAI RAWALPINDI

OVERVIEW


The flyover is built at Peshawar Road where the traffic from Peshawar heads towards Saddar. While the underpass connects I.J. Principal Road with Peshawar Road, CM informed that the monolith deck slab measuring 378 meters without any joint was constructed which is first of its kind in the country. The flyover will facilitate hundreds and thousands of commuters coming to and going out of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and the residents of several densely populated localities of the twin cities daily. The length of the two-lane underpass is 436 meters while the three lanes bridge is 380 meters long and the length of ramps ranges from 95 to 96 meters.
